The James R. Stewart Memorial award is given annually to a PMEA member who has gone above and beyond in his/her service to PMEA. Criteria may include length of service at the district and/or state level, multiple PMEA offices, NAfME Eastern Division and/or National Office. The award was established in 1999 in honor of PMEA Past President Jim Stewart, the only president who has served two terms (1974-1976 and 1990-1992). Jim passed away on Sept. 24, 2013. Deadline to apply - December 1.
Honoree will be recognized during the 2018 PMEA Awards Breakfast, during the 2018 PMEA Annual Conference at the Lancaster County Marriott & Convention Center on Saturday, April 21.
